Is it suitable if I don’t speak Spanish ?
Yes. English is common in the tourism sector, and we provide you with the right contacts. There is also a large expat community in the country.
Can you live here year-round ?
Yes. Essential services are available locally : supermarkets, clinics, pharmacies, local artisans, gyms, and restaurants. High-speed internet is available and installed when you receive the keys. Electricity is backed up with a UPS and batteries, and each home has a water reserve with filtration for everyday use. A community of expats already lives on site. We provide our recommended contacts and reliable service providers for maintenance, gardening, and the pool.
Is it convenient for short stays ?
Yes. You arrive at Puerto Plata airport and then it’s about an hour and fifteen minutes’ drive. We can arrange a driver, and key handover is simple, even for late arrivals. Bed linen is ready, the house is equipped, and a welcome kit can be provided. If you prefer to be independent, car rental is easy at the airport or in town.

The area appeals to couples and families all year round. A clear listing with good photos, a simple description and quick replies to messages rents well.
